13|Jan|2010 1While I haven’t had much time to fully evaluate the quality of this unit, I’m very disappointed that it is not compatible with my “Cable TV Remote” I contacted Samsung and they pointed me to RCN (cable provider). Considering RCN provides a long list of compatible devices and this Samsung device isn’t on it, I think it’s a Samsung problem.

13|Jan|2010 3mine is not 310t just ht-z310 and is the BIGGEST pile of junk I ever seen. skips and freezes on random movies random places. All play fine in my other dvd player, I have 2 clean this thing every other dvd if I even think about watching it. Had 2 have remote replaced little over a month after I got it. have had nothing but trouble w it. Returning it tomorrow if they will let me, tired of fighting it.

13|Jan|2010 4I had a professional installer come in and hook everything up for me. He couldn’t get the HT-Z310 system to work at first. Note: HDMI cables are not enough for this unit you have to use Optical Audio cords. Also, take the little plastic piece off both ends. Sounds like a no brainer but my tech guy didn’t realize they were on there and wondered why the system wouldn’t work.
Once connected everything was fine until I turned my system off and then back on again. It turns off when I turn on my system. I have disable Anynet+ and enabled it again. Same issue. I did some research and this seems to be a common problem. So everyday I have to keep shutting the whole system down, TV, Cable box, A/V Receiver and turn it back on so it (the receiver) will stay on. It takes about 20 min. everyday. It is so annoying. I would send this back if I could find the receipt.
