How To Hook Up Two Surround Sound Systems?

I have two surround sound systems. both are the same make and model. I want to hook them both up to pc, and have my movies output to both systems at the same time.
how do i do it.

18|Jan|2010 1Any way to do it would involve splitting the signal or using different outputs from your source such as run RCA to one and digital audio to the other. The only issue I could see is the chance of turning on both units with different audio to it and ruining your PC and whatnot. Surround sounds are not like car amplifiers so IMO it would be silly to run 2, it’s not like you are getting a combination of the power. Also it’s going to screw with your sound stage. You may walk away with double the speakers but that is not necessarily a good thing for surround sound. If it is for separate rooms a switcher could be used.
